This is one of the best large print word search puzzles I've come across. There are about 100 word searches for you to do and the print is large enough that I can do them without my glasses. The themes of each word search are fun like slang words, 1960's inventions, teen idols, actors, crime tv (my fave) and more. Each word search is a different theme. I really like that if you are stuck and can't find the last word, you know how that goes, you can go to the back of the book and look at the answer page. So, if you are looking to find a great themed word search with large print Past Times 's Word Search and Trivia for Adults could be the best word search book for you!

How cool is this!!?? I absolutely loved this word search and trivia book. I wasn't sure how they would tie in trivia questions but I loved how they put a couple questions at the end of each word search. Putting together a word search and trivia questions made for a fun and interactive book!

This puzzle book does a solid job of mixing American history with a variety of puzzle styles, which helps keep the experience from feeling repetitive. Instead of relying entirely on crosswords or trivia alone, the combination of word searches, scrambles, quizzes, and themed puzzles gives it a little more variety than most history-themed activity books.The historical coverage is fairly broad, touching on everything from the Revolutionary War through modern American history. Because of that, the book feels more like a general overview than an in-depth study of any one topic, but that wide scope probably makes it more approachable for casual readers and puzzle fans.

One of the stronger aspects is that the puzzles seem designed to be genuinely engaging rather than overly academic. Even when you don’t immediately know an answer, the format encourages curiosity instead of making the experience feel like homework. History enthusiasts will likely appreciate the themed organization, while younger readers or students may find it a more enjoyable way to reinforce information they already know.

The difficulty level appears fairly balanced overall. Some sections are easier and more relaxed, while others require a little more thought, especially the trivia portions.

This is a fabulous word search book, particularly if you grew up during the 60's. There are 2,100 words in this book that I haven't said or heard for many, many years. Just seeing some of them on the page recalls a flood of memories. Who today calls money "bread" or clothing "threads?" When was the last time you thought of Strom Thurmond or John Havlicek? This book brings it all back.

The puzzles are a fun challenge. The 21 words for each puzzle create a dense criss-cross of solutions on the page. I have a real feeling of achievement each time I complete a puzzle. The letters are not difficult to read--the large font is clear to the eye.

I would especially recommend PAST TIMES 60's WORD SEARCH to all baby boomers who enjoy doing word search puzzles. This book is far out and will help you lay back and hang loose. So split the uptight scene, get this book, and spend some groovy time with your past. You dig?
